TAKE YOUR LAWN TO THE NEXT LEVEL

Elite Topdressing is a family-owned and operated small business that is passionate in achieving your lawn goals. We aim to provide the highest quality service and guarantee a trustworthy solution in transforming your yard. Our experienced team at Elite Topdressing is committed to customer satisfaction and “taking it to the next level.”

What is Topdressing?

Topdressing consists of spreading organic material throughout your lawn to enhance soil content. This process works best after deep core aeration, and is included in ALL of our topdressing services. Once the material is spread, Elite Topdressing will drag, rake or brush the material into the roots of your grass.

Here at Elite Topdressing, we use an all-natural, organic compost to take your yard to the next level. Natural fertilizers, soil-conditioners, and micro/macro nutrients are provided in the organic material which are essential for a healthy lawn, therefore extra fertilizer application during service is not necessary. The organic matter holds nutrients and water near the roots of your grass, and is environmentally safe for any yard.

Topdressing can also help with leveling and drainage when used with a mixture of sand. Low spots and depressions are filled with material, but may take more than one service to achieve the “perfect lawn.” As a result, your lawn will become noticeably smoother during cuts, healthier, thicker, and more vibrant.

Clients see instant results within a couple weeks after service, and become the new talk of the neighborhood.

Elite Topdressing recommends service at least once a year.

When should I apply topdressing to my lawn in Georgia?

Warm Season Grass: Bermuda, Zoysia, and St. Augustine should be top dressed in the Spring and Summer months. Weather permitting, our typical season is mid April to early August.

Cool Season Grass: Fescue should be top dressed in the Fall.

Our services

  • Deep Core Aeration

Deep Core Aeration is included in ALL of our topdressing services. It removes lawn cores and allows oxygen, water, and nutrients to enter the soil. This process promotes deeper root growth and helps with compaction of Georgia red clay.

  • Compost Topdressing

Compost topdressing consists of applying organic material or a mixture of sand & soil to your lawn. This process promotes a healthier, thicker, and more vibrant lawn while reducing thatch layer buildup.

  • Sand Leveling

Sand leveling creates a more level surface by filling in lower areas of your lawn. This process promotes better drainage, and is recommended for established lawns.
